The sour 'family' of cocktails - that is to say cocktails which comprise of a base spirit, citrus, sugar and ice - have been enjoyed since the 1800s and is considered one of the oldest templates for modern cocktails today. The Royal Navy in particular were adept at making Sour Cocktails to ensure their sailors didn’t fall ill at sea, and it is said they are to have created the formula. Either way, the crisp, tangy flavours of this simple yet elegant cocktail have stood the test of time and remained favourites in our bar ever since. Enjoy six of our best-loved Sour NIO Cocktails in this Sour Box, including a Gin Sour, Whiskey Sour, Vodka Sour, Gimlet, Gin Proved and our signature Garden of Russia.
